Intervention Programmes on offer for children and young people

At WPES, we have developed robust intervention programmes that our highly-skilled staff work through with relevant children and young people. We expect all our interventions to be evidence-based and to bring about measurable impact and positive change, so we use a Pupil Intervention Passport to support the tracking of interventions over a period of time:

Personal Intervention Passport

We run the following principle intervention programmes:

  • Improving attendance and punctuality
  • Improving my relationships with others
  • Reducing down the use of foul language
  • Realising that I am a good person and that I deserve respect
  • Tolerance and Diversity
  • Understanding Knives Are Not The Right Answer
  • Mental Health
  • Stopping bullying
  • Gang Activity and Criminality
  • Improving self-esteem
  • Music Therapy
  • Understanding my anger
  • Online Safety
  • Improving relationships at home

We create even more bespoke and tailored interventions according to need.
